This is one of my family's favorite meals...
Pork Cantonese
1 1/2 lb boneless pork, cut into strips
1 Tbsp. oil
1 onion, sliced
1 small green pepper, cut into strips
4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Brown pork strips in oil in skillet. Drain well. Place pork and all other ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (High for 3 hours). Serve over rice.
I usually double this recipe...last night I even quadrupled it so I could feed some friends of ours! IT IS SO GOOOD!!!! Hope you like it!
